Here we go year two! Don’t miss our on farm celebration this March! Join us for a day on the farm celebrating the veggies, flowers, and community of Little Pond Farm on Sunday, March 15th, from 10am-3pm! All are welcome! Come out and have a fun relaxing day in the country and check out where your food is grown.

The day will include a walking tour led by farmers Ellen and Cole, live music, local organic food and drink vendors, kids activities and education, vegetable and flower market stand, and spring plant sale. Experience the beauty of springtime on the farm, and a behind-the-scenes look at our busy organic 5 acre farm operation in Bushnell, Florida (carpool information below!)

FARM TOUR – Starting promptly at 11am, we will embark on a 1 hour walking tour of the farm led by farmers Ellen and Cole. We will tour the bountiful veggie fields so you can witness vegetables growing in high season, and stroll the acres that produce your food. We will speak on how they are tended and our numerous practices.

FOOD AND DRINK VENDORS – Enjoy food and drink made fresh onsite by local food trucks utilizing Little Pond Ingredients! FOOD VENDORS TO BE ANNOUNCED. There will be kombucha on tap courtesy of Mother Kombucha. Please bring cash for food vendors!

LIVE MUSIC – Relax on the farm lawn and enjoy live music by LOUNGE CAT from the stage under the oak trees alongside the pond.

ORGANIC FARM STAND – Purchase all of your favorite Little Pond vegetables and flowers for the week from our once a year on-site farm stand. There is no Saturday Morning Market this weekend, so make a day trip up to the farm to get your goods! Farm stand opens for business at 10:30am. Please bring cash, credit, farm-card or market EBT tokens for farm stand.

* special visiting vendor, the amazing Megan of Riverbend Cattle Company (our neighbor!) will be here selling her sustainable, pasture-raised beef, spice blends, and local cane syrup ! * Check out her work here!

SPRING PLANT SALE –We are now a Certified Organic Licensed Plant Nursery. We will be offering organic plant starts for sale at our farm stand. All varieties are Little Pond tried and true, tested varieties that will thrive in your spring/early summer garden. We will have basils, bok choy, lettuces and other greens, hot peppers, flowers, and more! Plant sale opens for business at 10:30am. Please bring cash, credit, farm-card or market EBT tokens for plant sale.

IFAS GARDENING/KIDS LEARNING – Matt Smith, Sustainable Agriculture and Food Systems IFAS (Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences) Agent, will have a booth set up with IFAS educational materials and demonstrations, such as how to take a soil test or how to most sustainably feed your lawn in the Florida climate. He will also lead a kid-centric walking tour of the farm starting promptly at 1:00pm (lasting about a half hour). Matt will cover Florida agricultural techniques and where organic food comes from for your youngsters as well as questions that come up from inquiring minds!


The farm is located at 2893 CR 321 Bushnell, FL 33513 and is otherwise closed to the public. No pets allowed, no exceptions.

Folks in wheelchairs please note – unfortunately there is NO pavement on the farm – all terrain is either pasture or dirt roads. There will be a wheelchair accessible port-o-let bathroom.
